    My windows 10 laptop is completely useless


    Hey guys. Ive had this little acer laptop for over 2 years now and i turned it on a while ago and i started having problem after problem. I cant use my taskbar and thats not a huge problem. Pretty easy fix but i cant use settings. I went into task manager and tried to open settings to fix it but it wouldnt let me do anything. Same with command manager. I tried reseting the pc but when it was done booting up i had the exact same problems. I also cant even connect to the wifi and the farthest ive gotten into that i had a error about my window explorer. If anyone has any advice or knows what is going on with my pc please tell me because im ready to scrap it

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
