Windows 10: My Windows 10 laptop / tablet has been stuck on the black screen, and I can't turn it on or off

My iview tablet / laptop Windows 10. Has been stuck on with a black screen and I cannot get it to turn off or back on again, plus I want to factory reset my laptop tablet, because somehow I lost my windows program. What do I do????

Windows 10 stuck at black screen


hi, i tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
step 1 on copying files are 100%
step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.

any idea how to solve this? it's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, i'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10*Biggrin*Biggrin*Biggrin)

p.s i'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's works

 

Toshiba Laptop Black Screen

I have a Toshiba Laptop, Was reinstalling windows 7 on it last night left it doing the updates then shut it down. Turned it on this this afternoon only to find the laptop screen is Black and also there is a burning smell coming from the Fan.

I connected the Laptop to a external monitor that is fine, Can go into bios, Windows boots up fine Etc.
Just took apart the laptop earlier to check all the cables where in correctly, Checked the motherboard over for any damage, burnt bits but but found nothing. Just put it back together now but im still getting this burning smell and i still cant use the laptop screen only a external screen.

I Tried Pressing FN+F5 to switch to the laptop screen, But still black screen. Any Suggestions please ?

Windows 10 black screen on Tablet

Thanks for the suggestion. But can or how can i do that on a Tablet? Where there is no keyboard attached. No
CD/DVD ROM especially. So how can i do this Automatic repair.
Its not a Desktop or a Laptop, so i cannot do this suggestion. Also to point out, i can boot the
Tablet, after the Manufacturer logo is the Windows and the Login.

I can enter my password to enter then after that is the black screen. Thanks.
