Windows 10: My Windows 10 PC is stuck at loading screen and My Hard Drive Partitions are not showing in...

Everything was going well and when I turned ON my PC, it was opened but all the programs I used VLC, games, etc. were running laggy which was unusual so I restarted the PC. The computer then got stuck at the loading screen several times after several power on/off. I even tried the force restart automatic repair but still, the problem remained the same, windows remained stuck on the loading screen. Suddenly, for just one time, I was able to successfully log in to the Windows PC but what I saw then was very different like a completely different thing that I never saw in my entire life

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

 

Windows 10 installation disc is not loading after formating of hard drive and system reserved partition

I have a problem.

My Windows 10 got stucked and I had to reboot the PC. Suddenly Windows did not load at all.

I followed the routine in this instance, which I have done half a dozent times before, and inserted my Windows 10 installation disk to format drives and to reinstall it. I could however not access the installation menu, only the repair menu. I used therefore
the dos cmd option and formated manually the hard drive and system reserved partition.

Suddenly the Windows 10 disk is stucked in blue screen loading, showing movable mouse arrow but no menu loading.

I have never had this problem before.

I would be thankful for support and suggestions.

This can happen if the Hard-disk drivers are not up-to date. I would suggest you to update the hard disk drivers first. To update the drivers, please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Open Device manager.
   
2. Then Expand “Disk drives”.
   
3. Then Right click on the Hard-disk listed under this category.
   
4. Then click on Update drivers.
   
5. Alternatively you can also try to update the drivers from manufacturer’s website.
   

Once the hard-disk drivers are updated, you will need to allocate the last partition (it is not allocated according to the screenshot) and you will be able to view the partition.



Also note that sometimes the hard disk partitions/drives might be hidden in This PC or My Computer window due to a Registry key. If a DWORD with the name NoViewOnDrive or NoDrives is present under following key in Registry Editor:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer

Delete the DWORD and your drives will become visible in My Computer window.
