Windows 10: My windows 10 PC just won't update!

My PC keeps trying to install these updates but they either get to 99% and fail or they say download error 0x80070057The updates in question are:Microsoft .NET Framwork 4.8.1 for windows 10 Version 22H2 for X64 KB50110482024-08 Cumulative Update preview for windows 10 version 22H2 for x64- based systems KB5041582

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

pc won`t update

I`ve been trying to solve this problem for 3 months to no avail.

PLEASE HELP!!!

EVERY time the computer check new updates, the following message appears:

We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet.

My PC is connected to the internet, so this could not be the problem.

you`ve only directed me to a window link, which I don`T really understand.

Could ANYONE PLEASE send me a simple answer how I can solve this problem step by step???????
