Windows 10: My windows 10 version 1909 will not upgrade to the latest versions. updates do not install...

How do I update windows 10 version 1909 to the latest version of 20h2? I cannot manually check for updates because the checking for updates does not bring up these updates. The troubleshooter does not fix the problem. All updates end up not successfully installing and with error codes.

I recently upgraded from windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro on an OEM machine. The ISO installation came from Dell and was supposed to be the latest version. However, the version installed was 1809. How do I get and install the latest version 1909?

I have the same problem as MICJMA22. (I might mention that I have no PAUSE or DEFER set.) However, I don't see any "above steps" for updating manually. Can you post these steps??

Upgrade to latest version is usually recommended. Additionally, you also have the options to roll back, if required.
