Windows 10: my windows 10 was activated by digital licence but when i update to windows 11 it says we...

when i troubleshoot, it still not working. i have same Microsoft account logged in that was in windows 10

Digital Licence not activating

Hi the licence key clearly shows it is a Windows 10/11 Pro Licence key so I can't see why it is not activating? This whole digital activation seems such a farce? I don't have Windows 10 as my device is Windows 11, I've tried reaching out to Microsoft regarding this but their support is non existant..

 

How do i find my digital Licence to activate Windows 11 on new hardware.

I am having trouble trying to activate my Windows 11 Home on my new hardware, it had windows 10 home but i installed windows 11 and signed into my microsoft account but in activation it is still showing no product key was found on my device and when i trouble shoot it, it still couldnt activate and im lost. On my laptop it says "Windows is activated with a digital licence linked to your Microsoft account" But in activation it says nothing about linking accounts or using digital licence?

Activating Windows 10 with a digital licence

Hello there

I have a windows 10 pro digital licence registered to my pc , I have changed the hard drive and of course I do not have a Windows 10 CD , so I borrowed my friends windows 10 pro disc and reloaded that onto mine and I choose will register later , so all
well up to them , loaded all the up dates , rebooted and in the activation it is saying , "it can't activate windows on this device because because you don't have a valid digital licence .

But when I log into my Microsoft account it is showing my pc , along with windows 10 pro and the model number and serial number of this pc .

I am stumped , my account says I have a licence for this machine but windows on my pc is saying I don't , baffled .
