Windows 10: my windows 11 computer wont download and install any updates just keeps saying error anyone...

my windows 11 pc wont download and install an update it says i need I have tried all the comand prompt options mentioned in another post also manually downloaded the update and it still wont install says update not applicable to your computer even tho i downloaded the correct one

Who's downloaded the Windows 8.1 preview update?

For some reason the installer says the update is not applicable to your computer? (Win 8 Pro x64) anyone else try this what was released today?

EDIT: It appears the error is because the download is named Windows8-RT-KB2849636-x64 so looks like it's only for ARM based RT Windows 8 versions even though there's nothing suggesting that on the actual download page, so where's the x86 8.1 update people?

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
