my windows 11 has lost a total of 50 gb in the last month and i havent instlled anyhting on the drive i turned of hibernation mode and and tried everything what else can i do?

• I am unable to install the update,
• I suspect the windows 10 need this much space and it is some kind of glitch,
• Please suggest a way to free up some space as I don't prefer to format partition C:

 

The CBS file going over 50 Gb

Hello, i have a liitle problem with running out of space in my C: partition.

So a few days ago, i got a notify that i do not have enough space in my C partiton, and it was right i only had 5 GB free out of a total 100 GB. I started searching file by file and in C:\Windows\logs\CBS i found a rather intersting text file with over 50
GB worth of data that i couldn`t open becouse the text is to large.

I tried deleting the file by stoping TIWorker and Windows Modules Installer. And so i got rid of those 50 gb of data, after a restart i saw that the CBS text is at 30 Gb and still raises so i tried some other method while i searched for this problem but with
no definitive results, the file keeps coming back with a size of 300 MB and then raises to 40-50 gb

I dont understand it, I had over 400GB on one partition and a backup of my C drive on the other , 232 GB.



Oh well, mystery of life, my apologies for wasting your time, at least I learned a bit of stuff.
