Windows 10: My windows 11 laptop is stuck on ‘preparing automatic repair’ and then blue screen

I’ve tried to solve it by powering it off three times and other methods but absolutely nothing is working and this has been happening for two days now.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Laptop stuck on automatic repair screen

Hp envy x360 laptop restarted to install an update (part of window 11) and has been stuck on a black screen that says it’s preparing automatic repair for at least 6 hours now. Tried to reboot by holding down power button but I don’t get the blue page, just says it ran into an error and will restart for me.

Says the iaStorAC.sys failed

 

Blue screen into stuck preparing automatic repair

I recently got a firmware update notification on my lenovo laptop - I installed it, laptop was plugged in, everything was fine. When it rebooted, my computer bluescreened with the error message inaccessible boot device. I got to the recovery screen once, hit restart again to see if that would fix it. It didn't and now whenever I get to the preparing automatic repair screen, whether from a restart off a blue screen of death or a forced recovery mode from shutting the computer down mid boot a few times, it is never able to get past that screen. I think I just need to go back a version in my recovery mode - Any ideas on how to get the recovery screen since I can't get past preparing automatic repair?

Hi

I've got a hp laptop with win10. After certain update, i start getting first a blue screen with stop code NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM. Then the pc restarts with hp logo and a message at the bottom "Preparing automatic repair". This is where it remains stuck forever
(no progress in 8 hrs or so).

If I just shut down the pc by holding power button, it would again give me the same blue screen followed by eternal black screen thing mentioned above.

I cannot afford to lose the data on my pc by resetting it via a bootable device. Any suggestions?
