Windows 10: My Windows 11 PC just ran an update and now my location and time zone are showng in Moscow,...

As soon a the pc restarted after the update it automatically detected the time zone as being in Moscow Russia. I open google maps on the web browser and is also showing me in Moscow.I've restarted the PC a couple times to see if it would fix it, but it hasn't worked. I also looked up my IP location and it shows in me real location Costa Rica. I have manually set the right time zone, but can't seem to get the problem fixed.

Set Time Zone Automatically

Your suggestion, while good, did not correct my problem. What it did do was lead me to the answer, thank you.

Seems that the default location set for my computer was blank. When time zone was set to automatic, Windows didn't know where I was and probably reverted to the last entry in the zone list, Moscow. I re-entered my proper location, set the zone to Auto and
everything was good to go.

 

Time zone in Moscow sets to Baku?

HTC Mozart T8698 with W7.5 v. 7.10.8107.79 displays incorrect time zone on "autoset" while in Moscow. The problem appeared some weeks ago and became a real pain. The time zone displays "UTC +04 Baku" while im in Moscow. The time zone is correct, but the
set time is wrong, for instance it's 08:22 now and the phone displays 09:22. Setting the phone to manually set time works, but the clock gets considerabely late. Around 5 min late every 2-3 days, didt measure, but it's enormous. Please help with a solution.

P.S. It's not the mobile provider because other phones on the same provider (MTS) display everything correctly.

 

Time Auto sync wrong in Moscow time zone

HTC Radar and Mozart 7.10.8107.79 updated today.

On Settings/Date+Time when set Auto and UTC+4 Moscow timezone after some seconds time automaticaly corrected to UTC+5. Moscow time zone has no summer time. It is not depends on GSM provider. Beeline does not send nitz, MTS do send correct nitz but it does
not affect - time always corrected to UTC+5. Please fix it.

Upd: After 2 weeks Radar late on 20 minutes without sync.
