Windows 10: My windows 11 pro product key is not working. 0xc004c060

System info: GIGABYE GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, Ryzen 7 5800x 8-Core, 32 Gb ddr4 ram

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

I'm here to help. Error 0xC004C060 can occur if you entered a product key that can no longer be used to activate Windows, upgraded to Windows 10 but the activation servers were busy, or if you upgraded to Windows 10 using the free upgrade
offer but Windows 10 isn't activated after a reinstall. As initial troubleshooting, I suggest that you run the Activation troubleshooter. This resolves most activation errors. To use the troubleshooter, go to
Start > Settings > Update & Security >
Activation, and then select Troubleshoot.

If the issue still persists even after using the troubleshooter, it is best to get in touch with our Answer Desk team to have this issue sorted out. They can check the product key you have to ensure that it can be used to activate Windows 10 Pro. You may

Windows Error code 0xC004C060

Every time i try to activate my Windows 10 Pro Key I get the error message- 0xC004C060

I've already tried- A clean install, making sure product key worked, and a few other things.

Is there any way i can fix this? When doing a clean install of windows the product key was accepted and seemed to work. However when i logged on, went to settings. It still showed I needed to activate windows...
