    My Windows 11 System has a BSOD crash I can't figure out the source of and it only shows up...


    I have been trying to fix this problem for months but I don't know what to do. Random BSODS interupt me when I play games. The last BSOD was listed as error 0x0000004e. I want to try and fix it before reseting the PC and losing an unknown amount of things off my drives.

    How to figure out what is causing Windows 11 BugChecks

    In the last few days my Windows 11 system has started to crash on a regular basis, and with various different BugCheck codes displayed on the BSOD, including:

    • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    I have exported the BugCheck entries from the System event log, and have copied and zipped a couple of MEMORY.DMP files, but I have no idea how to figure out what is causing the crashes.

    Any suggestions are very welcome!

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    My Windows 11 System has a BSOD crash I can't figure out the source of and it only shows up...

    In Windows 11 power-saving mode, clicking the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen will cause a system crash.

    Problem description: As the title suggests.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Enter Windows 11 power-saving mode.
    2. Click the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen.
    Expected result: The login screen should appear and after logging in, the browser should automatically open to view content.

    Actual result: The system crashes.

    Device information:

    • Windows 11 version: 22H2 (22621.1413)
    • Device: Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 Pro 2021
    • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
    Other information:

    • When plugged in, the system automatically turns off power-saving mode and cannot be turned on manually. The function works normally.
    • When unplugged, turn off power-saving mode and the function works normally.
    • When unplugged, turn on power-saving mode and the system crashes.
