    My Windows 11 system locks up two to four times a week.


    Since making the latest update - April 2022. My system wil lock up with the curser frozen in the last position. The mouse and keyboard are no longer working.The only way 6o regain connection is to force a power off and then restart the system. I have been unable to pinpoint what is happening at the time of failure, but will look harder the next time.Does anyone know how to capture diagnostic info on this type of problem? This is a brand new Dell desktop with all current updates applied.

    PC Build Steps

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

    Internet Explorer 11; Windows 10....Stopped Working

    IE11; Windows 10. For the past 2 weeks when I open IE11 I get Internet Explorer has Stopped working POPUP message rendering IE 11 unusable.

    I have followed suggested Fixes by "Resetting" IE11; Use Software Rendering...is NOT checked. I have tried to use "System Restore" and go back to a Restore Point prior to 2 weeks but, I get unable to restore to xx/xx/xxxx because the process cannot file iexplorer.exe.

    I have tried several Restore Points...get this same result.

    I cannot fine the Internet 11 Install Update to delete it as it is not in the list History\Installed Updates.

    Surely there must be away to fix IE 11...I have run out of things to do...suggestions with steps will be appreciated.

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
