Windows 10: My Windows 7 laptop cant connect to wifi being shared from Windows 10 mobile hotspot

My Windows 7 laptop cant connect to wifi being shared from Windows 10 mobile hotspot, does someone knows how i can fix this?Upgrading to windows 10? or it cant be fixed because its about the laptop hardware?

Turned Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot "ON" but not visible on devices..

I have both broadband wifi as well as mobile hotspot at my home.both are showing in the list of available wireless networks in my laptop which runs on windows 7 home premium.however,while iam able to connect to my broadband wifi, iam not able to connect
to mobile hotspot with the correct password.It gives a message "Windows was unable to connect to Geetha Mobile Hotspot".im able to connect to the mobile hotspot using the same password from another mobile phone.Can some one help me solve this problem.
