Windows 10: My Windows Defender crashes my pc due to high CPU usage.

For a couple of days now, Windows Defender has been using 100% of my CPU during normal actions, not to mention full scans, crashing and lagging my pc to no end. Since i couldnt complete a scan to search for malware, i opted for a full recovery of my pc, since it was a relatively fresh install. After doing the usual setup, it happened again out of the blue during normal background security checks, and i've come to suspect it might be due to it getting stuck scanning files it shouldn't. Is there any way for me to know which folders should be excluded from the scan aside from its own? Or maybe to

Windows 11 High CPU usage and crashing

I just upgrade to Windows 11. When clicking the start icon it give high CPU usage and PC freeze and crash. Any solution?

My PC runs slow.

When I click on Task Manager, I always see a High CPU usage from Windows Defender and Google Chrome.

Any suggestion to reduce Windows Defender and Google Chrome CPU Usage to the minimum?

VERY HIGH CPU USAGE

Hey there Kristian, first I'd suggest using your task manager and seeing if Windows antimalware executable is going on, because it can spike high cpu usage rates. Afterwords, i'd like for you to do a scan with your windows defender, as it may be malware
infecting your computer.
