Windows 10: my windows defender does not open and it shows 'my it administer has limited access'. Also...

my windows defender does not open and it shows 'my it administer has limited access'. Also my system 32 security health folder is also empty. I tired resetting my lap several times but doesnt fix it and also tired sf/scannow and many other solutions available. Please someone help. screenshots are attached below

Let's try to make this really simple so you actually try something. Here are 3 steps, already described above. Try Step 1 only, then report the result. Do not try Step 2 or 3 until you've done that. I hope that's clear. Step 1. Already suggested above. Reset services to default. Follow Restore Default Services in Windows 10 Restart PC when done. Report any change. I said this was in the searchable Tutorial section. This is how you search the Tutorial section:

First try Step 1 and report the result.

 

Unable to access Windows Defender shows "Your IT administrator has limited access" error in Windows 11

Hello,

I recently did reset Windows 11 due to some errors, at that time Security was working fine but after that it's showing the error "Your IT administrator has limited access".

• I am not logged in to any school/work account.
  
• I do see that it is able to find Windows defender
  
• Here is my register gpedit page image I don't know if it's set to correct values or not.
  
• I haven't installed anything as of now so, no chance of malware
  

I am unable to upload photos.

Your disk looks fine.

This sounds worrying- as if Defender has been disabled by 'something'? You may be able to check step 8 FIX: Your IT Administrator has limited access using Policy Plus and you do have the option of an in-place updgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data (tutorial available) - this is quite simple to do especially if your major build is current (21H2).
