Windows 10: My windows detects an output device but not an input in the headphones jack

Discus and support My windows detects an output device but not an input in the headphones jack in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; So, When I first bought my PC everything was working fine but i didn't need the mic then so I don't think i checked if it was working back then or no....     My windows detects an output device but not an input in the headphones jack


    So, When I first bought my PC everything was working fine but i didn't need the mic then so I don't think i checked if it was working back then or no.
    Anyways I then needed my mic because I was playing with some friends. the game didn't detect my headphones mic I then went into sound settings and found out that windows cannot detect any input device or mic.

    I then had another exactly same lenovo device that I was fixing for a friend.
    I had the exact same windows and everything, And the headphones jack worked as expected and the microphone was working perfectly.
    Coming back to my device I did the following:

    1- Removed the sound driver and restarted windows

    2- Updating sound driver to default windows sound driver

    3- Reinstalling windows Completely from scratch

    And finally i checked if there is an update for the drivers and updated if necessary!

    But unfortunately none of them fixed my issue.

    Is there any way i could fix this issue?
