  1. My windows icons get mixed up when I open a game with a lower resolution setting

I set my gta5 resolution setting on 1600x900 (I have 1920x1080) but when I exit the game my windows icons get all mixed up. Does anyone have the same problem and how do I fix it?

  2. I want to lower my resolution

    Hi Facundo,

It's possible that your laptop does not support a lower resolution. But we can still check if we can activate it through the
Display settings. Follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on your desktop and click Display settings.
    • Select Advanced display settings at the bottom of the page.
    • Select Display adapter properties.
    • Click on List All Modes.
    • Look for the resolution you prefer and select OK.
    • Click Apply.

    Looking forward to your response.

  3. Acer Mixed Reality left controller restart issue while playing game

    Hi Andre,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand how disappointing it could be to face difficulties in your gaming experience and we truly appreciate for providing the details. However, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

    1. Could you please let us know the make and model of the computer?
    2. Which build of Windows 10 are you currently on? You can refer to
Which Windows operating system am I running?

We would suggest you to try following the steps mentioned below and check if it resolves the issue.

    1. Open File Explorer.
    2. Navigate to C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\LocalLow\Hyperbolic\Magnetism\BeatSaber (if you do not find
AppData, click on View in the menu bar and check the box behind
      Hidden).
    3. You would see files by name settings.cfg and settings.cfg.bak.
    4. Try deleting above mentioned files, which would reset your settings in the game completely.
    5. Then check if there are any updates for the game and try updating the game.
    6. Now check if the issue persists.

  4. My windows icons get mixed up when I open a game with a lower resolution setting

Game bar resizing based on resolution of games

No that doesnt help, Because the issue is not my systems resolution. say I want to play an older game that doesnt support 1920, 1080 when I play that game my game bar will be huge, it only does this when i open a game that is set to a lower resolution.

If I remember correctly from when I fixed it the first time there is a setting somewhere that prevents windows from adjusting based on resolution or something along that lines.
