    My windows is breaking down and now my phone is aswell


    I don't know why but windows is falling apart, wifi adapter won't work anymore.

    I tried the ethernet port but that died aswell for no reason.

    Now my mouse stopped functioning.

    It's really weird and i know it wasn't a virus since i recently put a new hard drive into it.

    Important to know is that these errors also occured BEFORE i replaced the hard drive.

    I've plugged in my phone into the computer trying to get USB tethering to work but that also failed.

    To my suprise my android phone started to show similar errors which include randomly maxing out volume, open google voice commands and going to the home screen.

    It's like a virus is adapting at a crazy rate, moving from device to device.

    I never torrent, i only installed steam, discord and MSI Afterburner.


    I need help fast, i use this laptop for school and i'm already falling behind!

    Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview


    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

    Apologies for the late reply.



    Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



    It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



    I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



    Try the following steps:


    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command

    • Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter

    • Search for the programs and un-install it.
