    Making a ChromeOS partition bootable on a Windows Laptop

    I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro I want to use ChromeOS on, in addition to Windows 10. UEFI is enabled in the BIOS.
    I have successfully installed ChromeOS (CloudReady) and then used it once. But I can't boot to it to get back to it. It seems the process didn't make the disk bootable.
    In Windows Disk Manager the Partition is set as a Primary Partition but isn't set as a Boot disk. And there is no option to.
    In the command line diskpart I cannot make it Active. I get the error:
    The selected is not a fixed MBR disk. The ACTIVE command can only be used on fixed MBR disks.
    When I select the inbuilt Lenovo boot manager I get a choice of the SATA HDD or Windows Boot Manager. Both arrive at the same place - Windows.
    How do I make the partition bootable?

    Hello,

    There are many reasons for your problem, but you may try this step :-

    • Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery.
    • Hold down the power button for at least fifteen seconds.
    • Without replacing the battery, plug the AC adapter back into the laptop.
    • Press the power button to turn on your laptop
    If the PC is able to boot & startup, the problem is with your battery, if not contact a service centre.
