    My windows OS does not not respond to my typing.


    I think my windows OS is not responding or recognizing my typing. I use Lenovo ideapad 330S-141KB, this has Intel Core i3-7020U CPU @ 2.30GHz, 8gb ram, 64bit OS and x64-based processor. I can still press keys and use the shortcuts, but my search bar, file explorer, paint and paint 3d, OS feedback stuff, and maybe other things does not allow me to type, but in Edge, Chrome, Word and other stuff it works just fine.I tried the open run then type C:\Windows\System32\ctfmon.exe press enter. it just shows C:\Windows\systeem32\TextInputMethodFormatter.dll is either not designed to run on windows or

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
