My Windows PC keep rebooting randomly and Event Viewer just tells me it rebooted from a bugcheck every time. Any ideas why this is happening? It has been happening to every single day once in a while. I have checked my drivers are up-to-date under Device Manager, Graphics card drive is also up-to-date. Windows Update is also up-to-date. PC Randomly Reboots

Just recently, my PC started to randomly reboot, to start it was once every other day, and know every few minutes.
Any suggestions to rectify this problem would be greatly appreciated.

 

Event Viewer problem with latest Windows Build 1607

After installing the new Windows build 1607, the Event Viewer stopped recording events under Diagnostic Performance. (Before 1607 I checked the files located under Windows.old dated 9/23/2016 and located this file which indeed did have a list of events
recorded.)

Since the initial 1607 download there have been two new builds automatically installed on my laptop.



The last step in an automatic download is the RESTART. Prior to my rebooting, I checked the Diagnostic Performance and for sure, these had the list of events.



Rebooting by me, causes the Diagnostic Performance errors to disappear.

As suggested earlier I have run the SFC/DISM commands with no errors reported.

Any Ideas?

Computer is rebooting itself.

Yeah, automatic updates is turned off, and event viewer says something about Windows not shutting down correctly. There's no BSOD, or there would be a window on the desktop saying there was a BSOD and giving me the error code and such. It seems to just reboot itself. I've never seen it do it while I was using it, though.
