    Virus/trojan namely win32/Gamarue

    I have windows 10 and microsoft windows defender always detect Win32/gamarue threat during scan. It asks for a restart for removal, but even after restart, the threat still remains i have already tried Microsoft safety scanner etc. with no avail. Please
    help.

    VV_961, due to issues with the new site design, I'm unable to view more than the first 10 or so posts in this thread. Arrrgh.....

    I'll get back to you when this is fixed. I've seen similar issues with Defender. For now, here's a link to MS description. Supposedly Defender detects and removes it. Right!
