Windows 10: My windows related apps only display a while paper icon.

I have always had this issue on and off where my windows related icons that i might of downloaded from the Microsoft store or via the xbox app seem to change to a blank white paper icon instead of displaying the correct shortcut icon. I normally try delete the icon cache and then restarting my windows explorer and normally it does the job but for some reason this time it is not. I have tried it several times, i have updated windows, i have updated my drivers, i have scanned for any viruses, i have scanned my computer for corrupted files and mended them, i have tried every tutorial i could find

Desktop chrome shortcut icons turned into blank papers!!!

2. Rebuild the icon cache: The icon cache is a database that stores the icons for all the files and programs on your computer. If the cache becomes corrupted, it can cause issues with icons. To rebuild the icon cache, follow these steps:
   
   • Open File Explorer and navigate to the following folder: C:\Users[Your Username]\AppData\Local
     
   • Locate the "IconCache.db" file and delete it (you may need to enable the option to show hidden files and folders in File Explorer settings).
     
   • Restart your computer.
     
3. Reset Chrome shortcuts: If the issue persists only with Chrome shortcuts, you can try resetting them by following these steps:
   
   • Right-click on the blank paper icon and select "Properties."
     
   • In the Properties window, click on the "Shortcut" tab.
     
   • Click on the "Change Icon" button.
     
   • In the "Change Icon" window, click on the "Restore Defaults" button.
     
   • Click "OK" to save the changes.

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly

Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

Follow this steps:

    Press Windows+X.
    
  • 
    Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    
  • 
    Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
    Enter.

Cannot find scanned paper

• Are you getting any error message?
• What is the make and model of the computer?
• When you say that "I scanned a paper but cannot find where", are you able to scan the paper using the scanner?
