Windows 10: my windows screen is stretched vertically....

hi. so this problem ocurred when i tried stretched resolution for games. using the nvidea control panel. after a while i wanted to change it back and when i did. it stretched my resolution vertically. i tried updating my drivers. i tried reinstalling my drivers. i tried so much. i jsut dont know what to do and i need help.... i couldnt find help online... so please anyone help me. the image is a picture of the game. the bus is meant to be much longer

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.

 

Windows 10 screen is stretched!

There is no manufacturer listed. It says "to be filled by o.e.m" or something so I'm not sure where I am supposed to go to find a driver update or which one is the right one to use.

But I did complete the bottom steps and there was no change.

At first, I thought it might be a problem caused by the monitor, but when I was installing windows updates, the updating screen was normal and not stretched. However, as soon as it restarted, it was back to being stretched again.

 

Video stretched vertically

I converted some DVD content into mp4/AVC files to watch on my WP7.

Video size is SD 720x480

Zune player on PC plays them correctly

Windows media player plays them correctly

Using Zune I put the files on the phone (HTC Surround) and when I play them the picture is stretched in vertical direction ("long faces").

But nothing appears to be cropped out of the picture and the aspect ratio visually looks correct (two small black bars on the left and the right side of the screen are expected because picture length is 720 px and screen length is 800 px)
