Windows 10: My windows settings and windows search bar won't work. How do I fix this issue?

This issue randomly started the other day for no reason. It might have been when I booted up my pc 2 days ago, it just instantly blue screened when I signed in but I'm not entirely sure. When I click the magnifying class icon it, the search bar pops up for maybe 3 sec and lets me type but then just freezes and closes. This is the same problem with any of the windows settings, I open up mouse settings for example, it pops up, freezes, and then closes. It would be greatly appreciated if someone knew how to fix this. Trouble with search bar (won´t find data)

I Would suggest you follow the steps below and see if it helps:

Step 1: On the Search bar type “cmd”. Right Click on the Command Prompt option and select Run as Administrator. (If prompted for a password, type the password and click Allow)

Step 2: DISM TOOL

• Type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
  and click Enter.
• Type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
  and click Enter.
• Type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  and click Enter.

Issues with using Search bar not working on Windows 10

• Are you getting any error message when you click on Search bar?
• Have you install any third party security software on the computer?

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
