Windows 10: My 'Windows Update Cleanup' won't clear from my Disk Clean up

Hey, I'm trying to clear my system files on my C drive because I'm running out of space. So I'm trying to use disk clean up, it says I can clear 8.6GB but it never clears. I'm running it in admin mode but I'm not sure what to do. I've also tried using the Microsoft app 'PC Manager' and it still won't clear.I also think there might be a problem with the drive because when I scan the disk, it says there's errors but the errors never clear away shown in the image attached. I'm not sure what to do about that.I would appreciate some help. Thank you

Disk cleanup don't cleans Windows Update Cleanup.

Hi Himanshu,

Just to verify, are you running the Disk Cleanup as administrator? Windows Update Cleanup will only run with administrator rights, so be sure to check on that if you haven't.

UPDATE:

We tried to simulate the issue that you are having and have figured out a way on how to manually clean it up. Here are the steps:

• Type Services.msc on the Cortana search bar.
  
• Scroll down to Windows Update, right click and select Stop.
• Launch the File Explorer.
• Go to This PC > Local Disc (C > Windows
  > SoftwareDistribution.
• Rename SoftwareDistribution folder to SoftwareDistribution_1.
• Restart your PC.

Once booted up, go back to the Windows folder. You will notice that there will be two Software Distribution folder. Delete the
SoftwareDistribution_1 folder. This will let you clear out the Update Folder.

Disk Cleanup not clearing Windows Update Cleanup

I have been trying to clear my windows update cleanup for a bit now. I followed this answer Redirecting on this
post. But it did not work for me. I was wondering if there is any other new method to solve this problem.
