Windows 10: My Windows Update isn't showing me nothing, just the "last update at 00:00"

My windows doesn't let me do anything, change the wallpaper its something i can't too, cuz the button appears at the same, if i try to put an image like "set it as background" it appears an error, i tried booting an usb, but my pc can't recognize em, i really hope there's a fix for it, i don't wanna miss all my documents from school and games

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

I'm with you. I have noted the same thing on my MDT setup with Creators Update and Fall Creators Update. Suddenly, late last week, this strange action started occurring. I allow the continuation on error for the updates, so it was not a show stopper, but with the default of 7 tries, that many reboots lengthened the time of deployment unacceptably for no decent reason.

Things to note:

1. This is a NEW thing. Just started, late last week.
2. The update attempts do not appear in the update history.
3. Manually scanning for updates does not locate/attempt to install said update.
4. It affects, at least, Windows 10 Creators Update and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (otherwise already fully patched.)

I have seen this on my virtual machine testing environment - I have NOT tested it on a physical machine yet (sounds like you are using physical machines.)

I tried Universal Serial Bus Controllers, then MTP USB Device, which appears to have worked.
