Windows 10: My wired connection drops every 20-30 minutes then connects again. I haven't had this...

I have already tried rebooting my pc and internet. I have stable connection for a good while and suddenly it just shuts off. While it is down on my computer, I have been checking on another device and the wifi is still up and running for that device.

Wifi connection cutting off every 20 minutes

My internet is turning itself off about every 20 minutes, and I have to go to the network and sharing center and run troubleshoot wifi connection 3 a several times before it goes back to normal.

What I've checked:

• The internet works without fail on my phone. The problem is surely on this device.
  
• The wifi connection 3 thing on network and sharing center is the thing that always goes offline (has a red cross next to it)
  
• My intelligence... I'm pretty bad at computing so please explain this in steps.
  

I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to stop this inconvenience from occurring every 10-20 minutes, its really frustrating. I need to answer questions and get more reputation on writers SE .

Thanks. By the way, I ran a scan. Its not a virus or malware, whatever else it could be.

 

Random internet drops on wired connection

Unfortunately I don't have another device to test my wired connection. I have a laptop, but it doesn't have an Ethernet port. What I did last night was installing a WiFi monitor on my phone, and while the connection dropped on my Desktop, WiFi was intact with no packet loss during that time frame. Just for note - my connection was solid today with no drops. Guess it's sparing me some time. *Nerd

I don't have an Ethernet cable so am unable to try a wired connection. I have recently had two full days with an uninterrupted connection but it dropped out again about 5 minutes ago so I've had to restart again.
