Windows 10: My wireless desktop 900 keyboard stopped working all of a sudden

Hey. I bought my wireless desktop setup 2 years ago and untill today it worked just fine. I used to clean it every once in a while so I don't think it's a dirt problem. At first I suspected it to be a malware attack so I tried plugging it in my Lenovo ideapad 330s and again the mouse works just fine but the keyboard is unresponsive. Tried replacing batteries. No sign of life. There's no power button so I can't reset it and now I'm locked out of my pc. Is there a way I can fix it on my laptop? Or do I have to buy a new one? Also I don't remember damaging it in any way so I don't think any of i

Remote Desktop Stopped working

It used to work. I've changed nothing. Windows 10 computers. All of a sudden it gives a "Your credentials did not work" error. I've tried everything listed in these forums but nothing works. I'm trying to access my desktop over my lan with a a wireless
laptop. I could do that this morning but now it won't work. Same user name same password. I suppose this was caused by some windows update or something. Is there a step by step troubleshooting procedure?

 

Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900 Transceiver replacement

Hi,

I have lost the transceiver for my wireless desktop 900. How can I get a replacement for this? The keyboard and mouse were working perfectly fine before I managed to loose the transceiver.

 

MS wireless keyboard stopped working

Question: I have two nearly identical Microsoft Wireless keyboards (Comfort Keyboard 4000 model 1045 and a Wireless Photo keyboard model 1027. One is just a spare. Both have the little transmitter that fits into a USB slot on
the desktop. Both came with a wireless mouse.

The keyboard worked flawlessly before I went away for a week, I came back yesterday and powered up the desktop, the mouse works fine, however, neither keyboard now works. Both are totally dead. I replaced the batteries with brand new ones, no change. I also
replaced the mouse battery.

I note that when the mini-transmitter is taken in or out of the USB receptacle, the desktop properly chimes. So apparently the transmitters are working fine. In control panel/keyboard, it says “working correctly.”

There is no on or off switch on the keyboard as there is on the wireless mice. . Nothing I have done can seem to make either one of the keyboards work.

Sure would appreciate any guidance or suggestions
