My wireless printer was working. And now it says, "attention required". It prints a test page with no problem. There is nothing in the que to print. Not sure what to do to correct this.

Hello, I am having an issue where when i print a test page, a notification pops up that says attention required. I click it and it opens the print queue. I have tried restarting the spooler service, and the message doesnt go away. I have tried restarting the computer and the printer, and i have removed the printer device from the list in devices and printers and adding it back. The message is still there. I have tried using the troubleshooter, but that only works for regular pages, not for test pages and only once per document. I would like to get rid of this message so my mom can print in peace. Any advice?

Does the printer have any error light on or flashing on the printer side? Where do you see "attention required"? On the printer or on the computer? On the Printer's LCD screen, does it say anything about the actual error?

Can you try to see if you can print from another device, such as a smart phone or another computer if applicable, in the same network?

What's your printer's brand and model?
