Windows 10: My wireless will not enable.

The issue: Upon restart wifi is disabled. image 1When trying to enable the switch will show on, but when checking again it will still be off.when I reopen the wifi setting page it will flip back to off. What I have tried:uninstalling network adapterrestarting WLAN servicesdisabling turn off for power savingI am not too sure exactly what the problem is. I am able to operate under a wired connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Windows 10 Cannot enable wireless adapter

Sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused.

How are you trying to enable Wireless adapter?

We would suggest you to follow the below step and check if it helps:

• From the desktop press Windows flag key + R and type devmgmt.msc and click ok.
• This will open device manager, now scroll down and expand network adapter, right click and select enable.
• If you still have issues enabling wireless adapter, right click the uninstall it and reboot the computer and check if it helps.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

The command in step 2 of Option Two should show your wireless networks listed in priority order. Top of the list is higher.
