    My xbox controller acts like the tab key is being held down


    I have tried all the windows powershell ways such as disk check sfc/scannow and dism check/restore health. None of them seemed to work. It only does this with windows applications such as settings, network and internet, taskbar, and volume. I am using it via a cable the cable isn't 100% for the controller but its the only one I have. It originally was for a blue yeti microphone, if that is the problem please let me know.

    Incorrect functionality with the computer that acts like Tab key is being held down on Windows 10

    Recently my PC started this habit where it acts like tab is being pressed down and it moves on to different clickable things and moves off of things I'm trying to stay on. This can make it hard to type and it gets so frustrating, I have to restart my computer,
    which fixes the problem only temporarily, but it eventually does the dame thing again. I don't believe this is a problem with my keyboard, as restarting fixes this. Any help given would be really appreciated.

    XBOX One Controller is acting as Keyboard

    Hello everyone

    I just bought a xbox one controller, and plugged it with a mini usb. And updated it on the windows store using "Xbox accessories"

    When launching joy.cpl every key is working correctly, but it's using Keyboard features as well

    Thus, in game, it acts like a keyboard and does not act as a controller.

    Thus it does not work in game

    The left pad is acting like Arrows as an example.

    How could i disable everything so it only works as a controller ?

    Before we proceed, please answer the following questions to help you better.

    • Does this issue occur only while using the Microsoft Office Suite?
    • What is the exact error message that you get?

    Check if the Sticky Keys and Toggle keys are turned on. If yes, I suggest you to turn it off. To do so, follow these steps:

    • Press Windows key + I and click on Ease of Access.
    • Click on Keyboard tab.
    • Turn off Sticky Keys and Toggle keys.
    • Check if the issue persist.
