Windows 10: My Xbox Game Bar recording works, but I can't open the captures through Xbox Game Bar for...

So for a long time Xbox Game Bar didn't even work at all. I managed to fix it so I can record clips now, and I can still view clips but I have to go all the way into Photos and watch/delete/rename clips from there, which is pretty frustrating and not as practical as just being able to view clips through the gallery in Xbox Game Bar. I truly understand that you are having an issue with Xbox game bar that is not showing any captures , let's work on this together for us to fix the issue.



Kindly follow the steps below that could possibly fix the issue.

Fix 1 : Enable game bar in settings

• Go to Settings
  
• Then click Gaming icon to continue.
  
• go to the Game Bar panel, make sure the option Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Gaming bar is on.

Xbox Game Bar Recorder Not Working

So whenever now I open xbox game bar I cant record but not only that in the settings app. When I click on gaming and click xbox game bar. IT doesnt show the change shortcuts thing and when I click captures it doesnt show recording preferences. So i cant change anything in settings. any fixes. and im on Windows 11

In addition, you can also check if the Microphone for game bar is enabled under privacy settings.

1. Go to Settings (press Windows +
   I key together) > Privacy.
   
2. On the left hand pane scroll down and look for
   Microphone.
   
3. Toggle Allow apps to access Microphone
   to ON.
   
4. Under Choose which Microsoft Store app can access your Microphone toggle Xbox game bar to
   ON.
   
5. Restart the game bar.
