Windows 10: my xbox guide button doesnt work as long as i dont press hard

The Xbox guide won't open.Why?!

Solutions 3: Restart your console.

• Select Restart console.
• Select Yes to confirm.

Solution 4: Reset your console to factory defaults. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
• Select Settings.
• Select All Settings.
• Select System.
• Select Console info & updates.
• Select Reset console. On the Reset console screen, select
  Reset and keep my games & apps.

Xbox GUIDE Button is not working!

I was using an xbox controller using an wireless adapter for some weeks, using windows 10 (update 1) and everything was working perfectly fine. Then I did updated windows, to the second update (that one that makes your PC reboot and stay with a strange
update screen (black with a blue circle) for some minutes) and the guide button on the controller stopped to be recognized by the PC.

Before, that button did worked fine, and when i did pressed it, Steam opened, that status bar that comes with the driver was shown too, but to do that i had to deactivate de DVR on the Xbox App.

On this second update even doind that doens't make that unique button work. Every single button works perfectly fine, but not that one.

 

Xbox controller turns off after first button press

I have two xbox one controllers. Both have worked wonderfully until a few weeks ago. The controllers continue to work fine on a fresh boot. After putting my computer to sleep and then waking it up, the controller will turn off after I press a single button. Repro steps:

1. Put computer to sleep, then wake it up
   
2. Turn on controller with USB controller receiver plugged in
   
3. Wait as long as you want (note, controller stays connected)
   
4. Press any button on the controller (computer accepts input from single button, then controller turns off)
   
5. Repeat indefinitely until computer is restarted
   

Other confounding factors: If I have Windows event viewer or Device manager focused, I can press as many buttons on the controller as I like, and it will not turn off. The instant I focus another window, it turns the controller off.

Things I have tried:

• Uninstalled the one windows update that was installed around the time this started.
  
• Installed windows 10 21H2 update
  
• Uninstalled Xbox controller driver
  
• Uninstalled xbox accessories app
  
• reinstalled xbox accessories app
  
• checked for firmware updates in xbox accessories app
  
• use a different controller (I have two different controllers, both with the exact same behavior)
  
• Move the USB reciever to a different USB port
  

No matter what I try, this behavior persists until a reboot. Both controllers will then work perfectly until the computer goes to sleep, and the problem recurs.
