Windows 10: My Xbox Series X/S controller don't want to connect to wireless adapter

Hello,

I have problem with my Xbox Series X/S controller. I bought it for using it on computer with windows 10. I bought it with wireless adapter because i don't have bluethoot on my computer. When I connect controller threw usb cabel, it works, but when i want to pair it with wireless adapter it just don't want to connect to it. I see that wirelles adapter at device manager but with yellow exclamation mark and question mark. I already tried all of my usbs on pc, update that XBOX ACC "thing" at device manager like automaticly and manual, reinstall it but nothing works. I hope u can help me and beutiful holidays.

I appreciate your time and patience to work on this issue. To have a better clarity on the issue please reply to the following questions:

• Are you using an Xbox one controller?
  

If you are using an Xbox one controller, I suggest you to refer the steps in the article

How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC and see if that helps in resolving the issue.



I would also suggest you to uninstall all the hidden devices under USB hive and check if you are able to connect the wireless adapter. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the hidden drivers:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. Click View tab.
   
4. Select Show hidden devices.
   
5. Expand Universal Serial Bus and remove all the greyed out devices. To remove the greyed out devices, right click on the device and select
   uninstall.
   
6. Restart your computer.

xbox series x controller via bluetooth not recognized in games

The Bluetooth steps I gave were only in case you need them. The actual repair steps for your controller were the first links I gave. Have you started on them yet? Please do not skip any steps. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step.
