    Mysterious local disk F on windows 11


    Hello, I just upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11 and after the upgrade, I am seeing a local disk F. I removed the letter using disk part but after restarting my computer it appears again, so is there any way to permanently remove it from being shown?

    I've had this problem for 3 days, Local disk (FMysterious local disk F on windows 11 :) is a mystery all over the internet, My local disk F is lagging my computer and I fear it may crash. It's using 449 megabytes and keeps lagging. I dont know what to do or where it
    came from, or why it's using so much space so suddenly.

    Mysterious Local Disk F

    Good afternoon,

    I updated my computer for the newest Windows 10 Update yesterday.

    This morning I awoke to a mysterious new Local Disk F, that is almost full.

    I've attached screenshots of my computer.

    I have tried to defragment, disk clean up, disk management and ran the disk for errors. All of them come up as a 0 MB gain to the drive. When I click on the drive to open it, it says the folder is empty. It keeps prompting me to clean up the disk and that
    it's getting full.

    No idea what's going on, any help is appreciated!

    Yesterday I downloaded the new Window 10 update. I then started getting messages that said my local disk f was almost full, I needed to clean. I open Disk F and it shows that it is empty. I do not understand why I am getting this notice, or where local
    Disk f came from, or how to fix it.
