Mysteriously Having To Re-Activate After Creators Update

I downloaded and installed the Creators Update successfully but since then, if I remain connected to the internet long enough, Windows deactivates for no apparent reason. This never happened before, and I have made no hardware changes, and this has never happened before in any other computer I've built in the past with Windows 7 or XP. When I was updating my computer yesterday, this happened and I repeatedly tried re-activating online with no help, ran the troubleshooter and was given the 800 number to call and got it activated again over the phone and have since backed up the computer with Acronis (been using this program since I built the computer in late 2015 with no issues). So my question is, is there an activation issue with the Creators Update that is causing this and if so, is there a fix? I said before, I built this machine myself and it's using the OEM version of Win10 Pro 64bit so I have a product key for it that came with the DVD.

    :)

I have found windows 10 auto activated

Naruto, you are to be admired for your honesty!

Microsoft are pushing Windows 10 hard, how it got activated is a mystery, but it is not an issue you need to worry about. . .

Since your Windows 10 is showing it is activated with a digital licence, it is legitimately licenced and your PC will have a digital entitlement stored on the Microsoft Activation Servers

You will receive automatic updates and if you ever need to re-install Windows 10, activation will not be an issue!

Mysteriously Having To Re-Activate After Creators Update

    Hi Amtrak288,

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

    2) sfc /scannow

    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    4) chkdsk /scan

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread

    5) slmgr /dlv
Please view the licensing status and post into the thread.

slmgr /ato always fixes it for me.

Yep. Run it in a Command Prompt (Admin) or Powershell (Admin).
