Windows 10: [N0oB] Installed Remix OS in the same partition as Windows 10

Hey all, I was pretty psyched about trying out the Remix OS. I went on and installed it in another partition but then the OS won't boot and had to use windows 10. The second time, I was so determined about making it work that I went ahead and installed it in the same partition as my Windows is installed *Sad. I couldn't boot into Remix OS anyway, so I gave up on it and tried to boot into Windows 10. Turned out, I couldn't boot into Windows too.

I played around with some settings carelessly in the BIOS *Sick and managed to boot into Windows 10 using Legacy boot. Uninstalled Remix OS as well. Now I just want the laptop to boot normally using UEFI. Any help?

Uninstallation issues

Hello.

Having windows 10 on my laptop, i also installed "Remix Os" on my pc. So whenever my pc boots up, i have an option to choose between Windows or remix os. But then i uninstalled remix os from my pc.

The issue is that i am still getting the option to choose btw remix and windows even after uninstalling remix.

 

Uninstallation issues

Open the run menu run by right clicking on the start menu type msconfig dialog opens click on the boot tab click on remix OS entry and delete it will no longer show on start up.

 

Posting a screenshot of disk management will help us determine what is wrong:

This is what I would do. Make a bootable USB flash drive, CD or DVD of Kyhi's recovery drive:

Boot the computer from it, run Macrium Refelct. Under the restore menu is a fix Windows startup utility. Run that utility. Then try to boot the computer normally and see if that fixes not being able to get into Windows 10 using normal booting.

If so, then press Win+R keys to bring up run dialog. Run msconfig . Select the boot tab. Delete all the entries that are not the Windows 10 default OS.

 

Thank you, Navy... that is precisely what I was going to suggest. I even posted it earlier. That was my intention. You simply got to my post and his response 1 hour before I did and posted what I said. We'll see what happens......

Edit: The download is gonna take a while, I'd run it up and report ASAIC.

 

I tried downloading the file, but I am unable to. I then tried copying the file to my drive and it gives me an error.
