Windows 10: NahimicSvc32

Is it safe to remove NahimicSvc32?
It has been causing a lot of performance issues.

Cannot copy and paste, result with a ".dmp" message

The dump files consistently show an "unknown process" is crashing and appears to be related to Nahimic software:

PROCESS_NAME: unknown

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for NahimicSvc32.exe

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for NahimicSvc32.exe

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ShortcutManagerDaemonModule.dll

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ShortcutManagerDaemonModule.dll

GetUrlPageData2 (WinHttp) failed: 12002.

Probably caused by : DeviceRoutingDaemonModule.dll ( DeviceRoutingDaemonModule+30b2 )

The NahimicSvc32.exe, ShortcutManagerDaemonModule.dll and DeviceRoutingDaemonModule.dll, referenced in the error appear to be all from Nahamic software.

Try uninstalling the Nahimic software and see if the issue resolves.

Afterwards you could try reinstalling the Nahamic software.

 

copy and paste does not work sometimes

1. Since when are you facing this issue?

2. Have you made any changes on your pc, prior to this issue?

Copy & Paste issue might be caused due some services not working properly or due to system file corruption.
I suggest you to follow the methods mentioned below and check if that helps.

Method 1: Perform SFC scan to repair missing or corrupted system files. Refer the following article for steps to perform

SFC scan.

Method 2: You can also refer the following steps posted by

Kasper RW on August 29, 2018 to fix Copy & paste issue that is caused by
Nahimicsvc32.exe services.

Copy and Paste sometimes works, but is mostly broken.

Glad to see rolling back the Realtek audio driver worked.

Nahimic, a sound enhancement, may be a component of the Realtek audio driver as reported in the following link:
