Windows 10: Name PC during installation needed

As Win 10 automatically names your PC to some random number, all net related services like one drive, your MS account, Steam and Chrome all see your PC as that name. So then if you want to change your PC, you then have to go around to all the net services and remove the 'old' PC and let it discover or add your 'new' PC.

BB5 ADL issues with N82 (using XP media centet)

Ok.



So, it hasnt worked yet.



here is the message i get after the phone loses the connection to the PC, and the "add new hardware" prompt tries to install the BB5 ADL loader driver



"CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARDWARE"



An error occured during the installation of the device.



The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name.





How do i fix this?

 

N70 USB connection problems

Hi

I am having probelms connecting the USB via pc the mesage i am getting is:-

There was a problem installing this hardware NOKIA N70

an error occured during installation of the device

The name is already in use as either a service name or service display name.

I have uninstalled the pc suite and downloaded the new version from nokia restarted mt pc and treid again but still the same problem. And i cant restore my backup from pc to phone

hope someone can help

 

You can specify it with an answer file or you have to create a local account then rename the pc then add your other accounts.

 

My point was that it should be able to be done during installation so as to save the user from all the needless busy work afterwards.
