  1. ndis causing slow downloads and general jank with streaming videos

i noticed this issue prior to upgrading my PC components to AM4 from AM3+. if anything is downloading at all even if its downloading at 150kbps i get sound jitter and lag. even with this new motherboard cpu and faster ram. I ran latencymon and saw that NDIS.sys is still the top DPC routine time.
im not sure if this is a part of the NDIS.sys issue but when viewing video, local or streamed, my audio precedes the video. sometimes in access of a minute.

AMD Ryzen 3 3200G stock speed
    16gb of AEGIS 3200 2x8gb
    ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS
XFX RX 580 XXX GTS ED
5TB of HDD space C:\ being a Toshiba Hybrid drive [3 hdds in all]
    Gigabit LAN by Realtek
    Realtek ALC audio onboard.
ISP speeds of 200down and 50 up getting 150mbps down and 30up which is normal

how do i fix this issue as i have not found anything that fixes it for over 1 year?

    :)

  3. video streaming

Here are some of the steps that you can try to stop video buffering problems:

Method 1: Cut Down on Background Downloads

Bandwidth is one of the most important resources for streaming video. If you have other active downloads, it will greatly affect your ability to stream video thus creating a buffering.

Method 2: Create a Larger Buffer

You may pause the video to give the software enough space to stream the video smoothly. A few seconds can do wonders for the video performance.

    Method 3: Select Access Time

The streaming videos are hosted on servers that are available to scores of other users. If the video is popular, you can bet that it’s being simultaneously streamed by multiple users. This will make streaming slow thus making buffering necessary. Try to access
the site and video you want at a time when the server is not been hit by many users.

    Method 4: Check Internet Speed

If you are constantly having buffering problems and your internet surfing is overall slow, you may have some connection difficulty. You can test your internet speed by using an online speed test.

Method 5: Alter Buffering Options in Media Players

    • Press Start button in the bottom left-hand corner.

    • Select Run and type: mplayer2.

    • Select View and then click Options

    • Choose Advanced.

    • Select the Streaming Media option.

    • Click Change and Set the Buffer to 0.

Let us know if you need further help.

  4. ndis causing slow downloads and general jank with streaming videos

Video streaming failed with unsupported video type error

    Hi,
I was able to resolve the issue by disabling all hardware enhancements for Conexant Smartaudio HD. Here are the steps I took to resolve it, in case someone else runs into the same frustrating problem as I did: Right click on the speaker icon on the lower right hand corner -> Playback Devices -> Disable all hardware enhancements -> OK -> Reboot. That's it!
