Windows 10: Need a solution to windows 10 limited PC that also has low internet connections

Hi FolksIm one of those folks who has been playing with PCs and laptops since the 8088. they put one on our floor and said see if you can find a use for it - we were the administration staff. I was then dubbed the queen of the pc - i learned lotus 123 and word and all kinds of things just by exploring.Im afraid to explore anymore. Im not a techie. I have too many laptops, a mac and a PC several sitting un opened for years. Im retired and i use things for personal use, pleasure.Now the problem. Im sitting in the same room as the router and i have a dot in my wife not even any bars. Yes, my

Limited Connectivity error means the computer has successfully connected to the router, but the PC wasn't assigned a valid IP address.

To understand the issue better, I would need more information from your end.

1. What is the make and model number of the computer?

2. Are you using a wired or wireless Internet Connection?

Internet Limited Connectivity

To assist you better, I like to know; Is your system is connect to wired or Wireless connection?

I suggest you to refer the suggestions provided by Arul_D and replied on August 7, 2015 and check if it works.

No internet connection, limited to browsers only

Hi,

Conflicts with the proxy settings is one of the possible reasons why you are unable to connect to the internet. We suggest you to try to follow the steps below to turn off the Proxy settings on Windows 10:

• Open Settings by pressing the Windows key, type settings, and press the
  Enter key.
• Click Network & Internet.
• Click Proxy.
• Turn off everything.
