Windows 10: Need a stripped down windows to continue using old computers

At work there are many old computers that have been running test and diagnostic programs we wrote to configure and test our products. We need a keyboard and screen and a mouse to run serial test programs that let the techs test and configure our products. These console apps have always run fine on windows98, windows7, windows8, and 10. I bet there is still a profitable market for windows7 in a shop floor environment as I have described. Anyone facing this problem? The last couple Win10 upgrades just clobbered the old single processor laptop we were using. Went from peppy when it was new to unb

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Stripping Down an old Dell (Windows and Office Question)

I am stripping down an old Dell to use exclusively for internet and music and run trough my stereo receiver. I want to ditch the Magnetic HD and boot directly off of an SSD. Can I simply reinstall Windows 7 from the original install
disc and then update to Windows 10? Is that the best way to get to Windows 10 back on the old box?

Secondly, I am going to pull Office off the old Dell and load it onto a laptop. Office is only licensed for one PC. What steps must I take RE registration/Product Key to make sure it will load and be usable on the laptop? Is there
an activate/de-activate process that must be followed?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
