Windows 10: Need a working Driver for my USB Flash Mass Storage Device for Windows 10 Pro.

I have tried everything that Microsoft and Dell tell me to due to get my USB Flash Mass Storage Device to work in Windows 10 Pro. It doesn't work. The driver that it is using is from Microsoft 2006 ? That's 12 years old ! It shows that it is working in Device Manager but it is not working. Can anybody help me with this issue ?

Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview v1607 Build 14393.51 > Device Manager > USB controllers > USB Mass Storage Device > Properties > Driver: Microsoft v10.0.14393.0 < this one does work

Please explain to me why the same driver version works in one case and not the other.
