Windows 10: Need Android MTP Drivers for Nexus 5X

Hi, I have a Nexus 5X and Windows 10. I'm trying to connect my phone to my PC and open it in Windows Explorer. It doesn't show up in "My PC". It shows on Device Manager as MTP Device and has a yellow "!". I've tried installing a lot of drivers. Nothing works. I also have this question on XDA Developers. I'm attaching screenshots. When I do find Drivers for my phone it won't install (in Device Manager) and says "This device cannot start. code 10." My phone is on and open and I have USB Debugging. So, where do I find the right drivers for my phone? MTP? I've tried Kedacom USB Device (Android ADB Interface and Composite ADB Interface) and Universal Adb Driver, LG United Mobile Driver and Windows Driver Package - Google (Win USB.) So what is the correct Driver for my Nexus 5X? Here are screenshots...

Nexus 5x not showing in my computer after windows 10 creators update

After I uninstalled the Android Composite ADB Interface (also selected the option to delete the driver), reset my PC and then connect the phone again, disabled USB debugging in my phone, and now I only get Nexus 5x with a question mark:





At this point, I tried different solutions:

1. Nexus 5x -> Update driver -> Browse my computer for driver software ->Let me pick .. -> Android Device

==> it says "Unable to find any drivers for this device

2. Nexus 5x -> Update driver -> Browse my computer for driver software ->Let me pick .. -> Show all devices -> Standard MTP compliant Device -> MTP device

==> Windows found drivers but encountered an error ... The install class is not present or is invalid

 

Nexus 5X driver problem


Hi,

Today when I connected my Nexus 5X to my PC I couldn't transfer files anymore (I checked on the phone to be selected the file transfer option). So I get the folowing error when I try to install via Device Manager:





So any solutions ? Windows refresh or reset is excluded.

 

MTP Drivers for NEXUS 6

Matthew, I searched for old answers to my problem and was able to finally 'see' my Nexus 7. The advice was to go to Device Manager and uninstall the driver and remove the Acer ADB device. I did so but still had problems. I unplugged, restarted, etc. With
the Nexus unplugged, I unchecked and rechecked MTP, then I enabled debugging, connected the usb, and finally can access the files on my tablet. UGH! Hope some form of this works for you.
