Windows 10: Need assistance in getting a TB16 Thunderbolt Port Replicator to connect to a Dell Latitude...

I'm not sure if I have come to the right category but I have a colleague and she has a Dell Latitude E7470 laptop and she wants to connect her TB16 Thunderbolt Port Replicator to her machine. The issue she has is the end of the Port Replicator isn't a USB adapter but what appears to be a USB-C adapter.


Can anyone recommend any good sources that offer some kind of USB-C to a USB adapter/converter?

thunderbolt driver error after Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 and Proofing Tools Kit Compilation update

After the above updates on 1/3/2018, my Dell latitude 7480 missed the driver of Base System Device, it should be the Intel Thunderbolt driver for my Dell TB16 Dock. Uninstall and reinstall didn't help, reinstall ended early and unsuccessfully. Right now,
the ethernet abd USB ports on TB16 are not working but display port and HDMI are working.

Other problems includes:

- "USB Receiver doesn't have a driver"

- "I don't see my device listed"

- and segger jlink driver was not working, uninstall and reinstall didn't help.

Dell Thunderbolt Dock

Did you have the power hooked into the Dell dock? The Dell dock also may need a driver as stated in this troubleshooter. How to Use and Troubleshoot the Dell Thunderbolt Dock (TB16) | Dell US
The Display Port will work if you want to hook to a flatscreen, but those features are even going away. Keep the receipts for the new adapter and if on a credit card, that they will cover it if it decides to die.

  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• Are you connecting the Thunderbolt display for the first time to the Alien ware PC?
