Windows 10: Need Assistance with 'Open File - Security Warning' Issue on Specific Drive

Hi experts, I'm encountering an issue with the "Open File - Security Warning" prompt on a specific drive and would appreciate your assistance in identifying the settings responsible for this behavior. When attempting to open any Excel file on my computer, files located on local drives C:\, D:\ or a network drive E:\ open without any issue. However, if the file is located on the P:\ drive, I consistently encounter the "Open File - Security Warning" prompt refer to the screenshot below. This interruption disrupts my automated workflow. Both E:\ and P:\ drives network paths have been adde

That's ok. To help clarify for everyone, which registry editing did you use and apply?

In addition, what error message are you trying to get rid of?

If you mean for the "Open-File Security Warning" message, then you could use the download in step 5 of OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to disable it.

  Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
  

I suggest you to Clear caches and cookies and check if it helps.

  Open Microsoft EDGE.
  
• 
  After that click on (…) “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
  
• 
  Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
  
• 
  Once you click on this option you will see list of feature, Select Cached data and file.
  
• 
  Here you need to check the option you want to clear and click “Clear” button.
