    I have run into an issue with a PC I built a little over half a year ago regarding some form of system error that causes audio, as well as other systems, to malfunction or crash. Specifically, what happens. When watching/streaming videos, talking to other individuals via applications like Discord or Skype, or playing an online game at seemingly random all audio ceases to function. Additionally, there have been times where other systems will also stop functioning. An example being, while watching a video the audio will cut out, and the video will begin to buffer as if there is a loss of connect

    For further assistance regarding the "unconnected" status of your internal audio speaker, we would like to gather more information:

    • Was the update installed manually or automatically?
    • Did you make any changes to your computer prior to this issue?

    I suggest you to run the audio trouble shooter and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Run audio troubleshooter.

    You might be able to solve some problems by running a troubleshooter that will automatically fix some common issues with audio.

    Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

    • Press Windows key on your keyboard
    • Type Troubleshooting and click
      Troubleshooting..
    • Click on view all (on the left)
    • Select Playing Audio
      troubleshooter
    • Follow the prompted steps to troubleshoot this issue.
