Windows 10: Need help after installing Windows 10 on a hp eNVY All-in-One - 24-n014

I picked up an AIO through a local sale and it came with a 5200 RPM hDD. Of course, i wanted to upgrade to an SSD and I usually do this through cloning. I tried macrium many times and when i went to swap the drives the pc wouldn't boot.

I've never had issues with macrium so I decided to fresh install windows from a USB and that worked. I updated windows to the latest updates once installed but i noticed a few things that are now missing:

1. I can't adjust the brightness.
2. Audio sometimes stops and I have to turn off and turn on (resetting won't do anything)
3. the hp eNVY All-in-One - 24-n014 came with HP software for adjusting display color settings and those are all gone now. not that i want to change them but when I used to plug in HDMI for ps4 i could play with oSD settings and now those are gone.

After reading online it seems like i have to install old drivers for audio and display and I did that by going to the computers driver page and downloading old drivers but I still can't adjust display settings like before. I do like the no bloatware with the fresh install but I kind of miss the old school settings the pc originally came with.

Anything I can do here? Even if it's just to fix the audio and be able to adjust the brightness? I'm thinking of plugging in the old HDD with usb and just copying some of the old hp software that's in there. I hope that works!

Touchscreen on my New HP Envy is not working

Hello.

I just bought a new HP Envy All-in-One 24-N014 with Windows 10 already installed on the computer, and the touch screen is not working. The touch screen is one of the main reasons why I bought it. How do I fix this? This is crazy especially since I have spent
so much money on the high end computer.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.
